ROLL RACING COMES TO TASSIE

Roll racing is all about having fun with fellow car enthusiasts. There is no timing or official scoring/results.

You both start off - get up to 40km/h and then when signalled - its on - first over the finish line wins!

Go around the track and line up your next challenger.

Race is usually over 250m with plenty of room to safely stop (but good brake pads are cheaper then new panels!)

Cars will be scrutineerred for safety - with a focus on seats, seat belts, no loose items, overall presentation (no death traps), brakes and no oil/fluid leaks of any sort.

Once your car is checked out - paperwork is finalised youll have a wrist band and can line up to have a run.

Follow the instructions from marshalls and ask questions if you arent sure!

You will need an Australian approved helmet (or CAMS/FIA approved).

You can take a passenger (they need to pay $20 and also have a helmet and neck/wrist/ankle clothing).

The rest is simple - marshalls will line you up - and explain the process. Once you have done a run youll be free to do as many more runs as you like!

Bad behaviour, burnouts, donuts, bottle tops, cliff hangers or wall hugging will result in an exclusion from the event. These events are run under a permit and we need to abide with all the rules and keep the track and officials happy and safe.

Please note – Once you have paid – there is no refund. We can reschedule your booking if you give us minimum of 7 days notice for $50. If you are unable to attend – You can give your spot to another driver for no change fee – just let us know the name of the new driver
