WELCOME – PDA SKIDPAN SESSIONS RULES

COVID-19 – At the time of writing – training can be provided in all states of Australia in line with the relevant guidelines. At all times Performance Driving Australia will acknowledge and adapt procedures and practices to comply with restrictions. Please contact us for the latest information on how we comply with COVID-19 regulations

Drivers can arrive at anytime during the session.

THE RULES;

Failure to obey these rules and you will be issued with 1 warning.

There is no 2nd warning – you will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued. Have fun – and stay safe!!

GOLDEN RULES

Drivers and Passengers must be ZERO alcohol and drug free at all times NO BURNOUTS – If you stop moving & disappear in smoke – that is a burnout! You will be sent home Drifting, Skidding, Sliding is fine – but as soon as you near the edge of the skidpan you must button off! 5km/h speed limit in the pits and all areas outside the skidpan Anyone caught giving it the beans up the road outside of the venue will also be banned from attending future events – Remember we have eyes and ears everywhere – plus you really don’t want to buy a ticket to the Policeman’s ball.

PASSENGER RULES

Drivers can only take one passenger at a time. All passengers must be over 17, wear a seatbelt and keep arms, legs and other body parts inside the car at all times. A disclaimer must be signed by every passenger and they must be wearing the appropriate wrist band.

SAFETY STUFF

Helmets are required

Cars must be registered and roadworthy -

Drivers must hold a AASA Club Racing License. All drivers must be over 17.

Unregistered cars are on an invitation only basis - you must ask us first and provide pics of the car before we accept them. No GUMTREE specials sorry!

THE ARMCO

The Armco is real – its stronger than it looks and stronger than your car. If you choose to test it – you will lose. Please stay away from it as you will be up for the cost of repairs to your car and the Armco.

RESPONSIBILITY

Performance Driving Australia do not accept ANY responsibility for incidents/crashes/damage/injuries caused on the skidpan. We provide a safe and controlled environment for you to practice your advanced car control skills and strongly suggest you take it easy to avoid an expensive, embarrassing or possibly painful experience.

By entering the venue and/or this event you agree to our rules and you accept them.

These events are created, delivered and funded entirely by Performance Driving Australia in an attempt to reduce road trauma caused by dangerous driving on public roads.

We receive no financial assistance from any organisation and welcome anyone that would like to help sponsor these nights to contact us. We believe that providing a safe environment for drivers to hang out and enjoy their cars will encourage responsible behavior on public roads.
